EUROPEAN FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION EUFFAS

"Fire services and disaster management across EU member states are vital elements of European safety policy. Firefighters serve as an indispensable pillar of safety and resilience. Their unwavering commitment to saving lives, protecting property and cultural heritage, preserving the environment, and fostering a more secure society underscores the need for international cooperation."

About

Fire services and civil protection in the countries that have joined the European Union are essential components of European safety policy. Fire services are an indispensable pillar of the safety and resilience architecture.

The exceptional commitment and unwavering solidarity of firefighters are an essential cornerstone for saving lives, conserving property and cultural heritage, protecting the environment, and building a safer and more resilient society.

Therefore, the legitimate Fire services in the member states of the European Union agreed to establish the 'EUFFAS - European Firefighters Association'. This will create a common, sustainable structure that aims for advocacy and interactive dialogue with the institutions of the European Union.
